All Good Alchemy Typeface

I worked with the owner of All Good Alchemy, a natural and handmade cosmetics line, to create a unique typeface for use in the logo, branding, and product packaging. The typeface I created represents the handmade quality of her products and adds a playful touch to the product packaging.

Datapine Interface Redesign

When I started working at Datapine as a UI designer, they wanted to refresh and modernize their software interface. I led the redesign, working to define a brighter color palette and a cleaner layout. I’m currently working to implement new design guidelines throughout the tool, and working with the product team on new features.

Logos and Branding

I love working with companies to help them define and communicate their vision.

White Pine Typeface

I designed this typeface as a fun project for myself, so I could learn a little more about type and get some experience using font editing softwares. It is available to download and use for free, and has been downloaded over 3000 times.

Pattern and Surface Design

While studying design in university, I took a textile printing course and learned different methods of dying and printing fabric. I fell in love with cutting shapes out of foam, making my own stamps, and printing repeating patterns onto fabric. Since then I have loved creating bright colorful patterns as a creative outlet.

Born in California to an artist and a scientist, I grew up curious and creative. During school, I found that the only place I was completely absorbed in work was in the metalwork lab. I studied art and design at university, where I had the chance to explore different media from woodworking and printmaking to web and interaction design. I loved figuring out how to build things and fit all the pieces together. Now I happily put all of these creative skills to use as a graphic designer. I work both freelance and in-house, and enjoy myself most when collaborating with other enthusiastic people.
